Xinjiang Province: Shipton's Arch - also called Tushuk Tash is located in the mountains in the west of China, about 50 km northwest of the city of Kaschgar.
A newly build road reaches a parking lot, from where the arch can be reached on a 5 km hiking trail. Some fixed ladders help to master the 250 m difference in altitude. Unfortunately only the upper part of the 400 m height of the arch can be viewed.
